Anonymous asked: So why are you a one woman show now?

As a lot of friends and regular clients are already aware (I’ve been talking about this for almost a year now): I am actually going to be spending about 6-12 months writing a book (I start writing full time this Summer, please stay tuned for the Kickstarter I’m putting together to fund this project!) The book is going to be an autobiography/pictorial about the 4 years I’ve spent on the road as an almost non-stop traveling photographer and will go into depth about details from the very first day all the way up to the very last day of tour… you will likely find yourself rather interested in the very end of this book. 

I can say this: I have amazing friends, clients and an even more outstanding creative team! I could have never imagined being so blessed and surrounded by such support and talent during this time of transition and I couldn’t be happier or any more inspired than I am right now!

I love Justin to pieces forever and ever but Redrum was always my vision… now more so than ever before.

INSTAGRAM

When you put a filter on the professional pictures I took of you via instagram and then have it post to a bunch of websites cropped and filtered with my photo credit on it, well, how do I say this? A small piece of my heart dies.

Why? Because it’s no longer my work and most of those filters are blowing you out and screwing with the contrast and you’re not half as pretty in the newly edited image as you actually are to me, in my eyes. And other people likely think I tried to make the picture look like that myself… and that’s……… disappointing. And horrifying (as an artist.) 

Please stop.

OUCH! Oh no worries… just another little piece of my heart withering awaaaaay…. no biggie.
