Sad Faces
I cannot express this enough - If you wait until 2-4 weeks prior to a date we have posted to book chances are really good that we are going to be fully booked already for that city.
I feel bad turning people away and we try to be as flexible as possible and sometimes even adjust our schedule to include an extra day in a certain city… but more often than not our schedule is NOT flexible and I get the saddest replies. I hate sad replies! They make me sad! Then it’s sad faces all around! :(
The lesson: The early bird truly does get the worm! If you really want to shoot with us you need to e-mail us ready to book and not reply with “Oh, I’ll get back in touch once the date gets closer.” Because chances are good the date will be full by then and all we’ll get is a round of sad faces from every direction. And we are all way cuter smiling!
